Rooting for Carrots
Mustard Communications has been signed up by the British Carrot Growers’ Association to drive sales of the nation’s favourite vegetable during the summer months. We’re kicking off the year with a healthy eating initiative fronted by leading nutritionist Juliette Kellow (who writes for Top Sante, Closer and The Mirror). As well as being naturally low in calories, fat, saturates and salt, carrots are also high in fibre and brimming with betacarotene.
The team at Mustard are also planning to bring new season British carrots into the spotlight when they hit the shelves at the end of June. Much prized for their fresh, sweet, aromatic flavour, new season carrots are so tender they are harvested in the middle of the night to avoid damage from the sun.
