
Winning Campaign at Grower of the Year Awards 2010
The team at Mustard are thrilled to have been awarded Consumer Marketing Campaign of the Year at last week’s Grower of the Year Awards.
The honour was awarded for our campaign Mushrooms – The Magic Ingredient with the Mushroom Bureau and was all the more rewarding in light of stiff competition from PR campaigns from the Potato Council, Tenderstem broccoli, Cauliflower, Yes Peas and Majestic Trees.
Our campaign for the bureau included working with Masterchef aficionado Gregg Wallace, yummy mummy Sophie Conran and gastronomical genius Jean Christophe Novelli to develop a range of mushroom recipes, a trip to a Hampshire mushroom farm for some of our journalist friends from magazines such as BBC Good Food, Olive and Prima, working with Gino D’Acampo, Aldo Zilli and Silvana Franco to create yet more culinary treats, including the production of a vodcast with Gino, and finally a real-life diet trial which led to our 10 volunteers losing an average of 13 pounds over 5 weeks.
It was a touch of déjà vu as we won the same award in 2008 for the Watercress Alliance. It’s nice to know that we’re still being recognised for being at the top of our game!
