Hurrah for Herbs: Mustard Launches New PR Campaign for British Herb Trade Association

We’re all mad about fresh herbs here at Mustard Communications, so imagine how delighted we were to acquire the British Herb Trade Association (BHTA) to add to our portfolio of clients.

From vibrant salsas and cool creamy dips to flavoursome, aromatic salads and mouth-watering marinades, fresh herbs can transform any dish.  And while the sun is shining, there’s never a better time to stock up on herbs to add freshness, flavour and the most wonderful aroma to your cuisine.

So we are about to launch a PR campaign for the association which will focus on the ability of fresh herbs to make “ordinary meals extraordinary” and aims to demonstrate that herbs can completely transform everyday dishes.  The campaign will consist of some fun creatives and will include a strong digital media element.  Social networking sites will be a key vehicle for the campaign.

Wendy Akers, Managing Director of Mustard Communications says: “For the first time, we have included elements which directly target children and schools as we believe that fresh herbs can be enjoyed by all age groups.  Children love the different varieties, taste and textures of fresh herbs and we will seek to expand their knowledge and understanding of them.”

We will be enlisting the support of a celebrity to maximise awareness of fresh herbs.  We will also tap into seasonal trends and will be forging partnerships with other like-minded products and organisations.   So if you have a product which you think would fit perfectly with fresh herbs we’d love to hear from you!
